Follow these tips to keep your jewelry in tip top shape!
Natural body chemistry, environment & certain chemicals may oxidize or change the color of the metals. The best way to prevent tarnishes is to care for your jewelry properly.
Be mindful that some materials like cosmetics, hairspray, perfume, deodorant, lotions and household chemicals can speed up the tarnishing process.
*DO NOT use silver cleaner on your jewelry. Polish your silver jewelry using a silver polishing cloth only.
*Remove your jewelry when performing tasks that may cause physical damage such as cleaning, swimming, working out etc.
*Avoid exposure to chemicals such as chlorine & ammonia. Put your jewelry on after you've applied lotions and perfumes.
*Remove jewelry when bathing and swimming.
*Acrylic jewelry should NOT be exposed to alcohol as it will cause small cracks usually along the edges. This includes perfumes & body sprays. It's best to remove your acrylic jewelry before applying perfumes or avoid spraying over the acrylic. Wait until skin is dry before wearing your jewelry.
Most of our jewelry uses plating or are gold filled. In order to maintain its quality and color it’s best to avoid contact with water or other harsh chemicals. Always store your jewelry in a secure and airtight place between wears and ensure that you clean your jewelry lightly with a cloth to keep it in beautiful condition.
Although extremely rare, some people are allergic to the metals and finishes commonly used in making jewelry. It is the responsibility of the consumer to be aware of any allergies he or she may have to metals (gold, silver, etc.) or the oxidation applied to metals (liver of sulfur) prior to making a purchase. Because there is no way for us to know the medical history of our customers, Ria x Rain will not be held liable for any allergic reactions that may occur as a result of wearing our jewelry.
